Interpol and Red notice Removal

Interpol Red Notices

A person subject to Interpol Notice is restricted from travelling safely and is liable to be arrested and face extradition.

About Interpol
Interpol is the largest international law enforcement agency in the world with 190 member nations. It is headquartered in France and its mission is to prevent and fight crime through enhanced cooperation and information sharing on police matters. Its primary role is informational, it does not itself arrest people.

Interpol Notices
Interpol notices facilitate information-sharing and cooperation among police forces of member nations. Notices are issued by the Interpol at the request of a member nation, and are colour coded based on their purpose. The notices frequently used are Interpol Red Notices and Diffusion.

Interpol Red Notices
Red notices seek the location and arrest of wanted persons with a view to extradition. A red notice is a demand by the requesting member national on all Interpol members to arrest a person wanted for prosecution or to serve a previously imposed sentence. These notices are issued by the Interpol’s General Secretariat at the request of a member nation, and are usually published on the Interpol’s website.

Interpol Diffusions
Diffusions are a less formal alert mechanism than Red Notices, but can serve a similar function as Red Notice. These are issued by the requesting member nation and can be selectively distributed to specific member nations.
